Terms of use and risk disclosure

The rules for using FORTCORE and a plain statement of the risks of holding crypto. Read it before you move your savings.

Last updated October 18, 2026

1. What FORTCORE is

FORTCORE provides software that helps you set up and monitor a non-custodial savings vault, a Safe smart account with a withdrawal delay, and sends you alerts about it. FORTCORE is not a bank, exchange, broker, custodian or financial adviser, and nothing on this website is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

2. You control your keys and your funds

Your vault is controlled only by the keys you choose. FORTCORE never holds your keys or funds and has no ability to move, freeze, recover or reverse them. You are responsible for your keys, devices and backups, and for checking every transaction, address and amount before you sign. If you lose your keys, FORTCORE can't get your funds back.

3. Risks you accept

Holding crypto carries real risk, including the loss of everything you hold. Before you use FORTCORE, understand that:

  • Transactions are irreversible. A transaction sent to the wrong address, or approved by enough of your keys, cannot be undone.
  • Keys can be lost or stolen. Two compromised keys have full control of a vault, and losing enough keys can lock you out of it.
  • Smart contracts can have flaws. Your vault uses established open-source contracts from Safe and Zodiac. They are widely used and Safe's are publicly audited, but no software is guaranteed to be free of bugs.
  • Networks can fail. Blockchains and the services connected to them can be congested, interrupted or change in ways that affect your vault.
  • Alerts can be late or missed. Email, Telegram and webhooks depend on third parties. Don't rely on a single channel, and check your vault regularly.
  • Prices are volatile. The value of crypto can fall sharply.
  • Rules change. Laws and regulation about crypto vary by country and may change.
  • Test networks have no value. Networks marked as test networks are for practice only.

4. Using FORTCORE

You must be at least 18, have the legal capacity to enter into these terms and be allowed to use crypto services where you live. You agree not to use FORTCORE for anything unlawful, to evade sanctions, to attack or overload the service, or to impersonate others. Keep your account's email secure, because it is how you sign in.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep FORTCORE available, but we provide it as is and may change, pause or stop parts of it. We may take a space offline, for example to respond to abuse. That never touches your funds: your vault keeps working, and your exit kit explains how to use it without FORTCORE.

6. Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FORTCORE is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any loss of crypto assets resulting from lost or stolen keys, mistakes, third-party or blockchain failures, or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as FORTCORE changes. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell members by email or in their account. Using FORTCORE after a change means you accept it.
