Pricing

Restrictions cost nothing. You pay for people and services.

Every vault on every plan runs the same contract, so the protection it gives is never behind a paywall. Paying buys who watches your vault and what FortCore does for you.

FortCard

$59 once, delivered worldwide

An optional NFC card with a key that never leaves it. Keep it at home, not in your wallet: a FortCard carried with your phone helps a thief too.

  • Co-signs withdrawals above an amount you set. A Ledger, Trezor or Keystone can do it instead.
  • Stops your vault when tapped on any NFC phone running the FortCore app, up to 4 times in 30 days.
  • Together with your cloud passkey, lets a new phone send in 12 hours instead of 48. Everything else still waits a week, and your other phones can cancel it.
  • Unlocks the strict settings that ask for it.

Strict settings

Free on every plan

Optional rules that make your vault slower and harder to move. Each takes effect at once and can be turned off only after 7 days.

  • No instant withdrawals: new addresses wait 72 hours, and more than half your savings waits 7 days.
  • Known addresses only: a new address is added with a FortCard tap and a 7-day wait.
  • A FortCard tap on every send.
  • A FortCard to add a phone, so your cloud passkey alone can never add one.

Questions

About plans and payments

Is Free a trial?

No. Free is the whole contract, for as long as you like: every wait, cancel and lock, restoring to a new phone, sending everything home, the inactivity return, strict settings and the exit kit.

Does FortCore take a fee from my vault?

Never. The contract has no way to take a fee from a vault, and the assets in it are never FortCore's revenue. Plans are paid separately.

Who pays the network fees?

FortCore pays the Base network fees on every plan, under a fair-use limit. Setup, the $5 home test, cancellations, locks, returns and check-ins never count against it.

What happens if I stop paying for Protect or Private?

Your vault keeps working exactly as before, because every plan runs the same contract. FortCore's services, such as screening, SMS, trusted contacts and phone verification, stop at the end of your plan.

Do I need a FortCard?

No. It is optional. It makes recovery faster, gives you a stop key you can tap on any NFC phone, and is required only by the strict settings that ask for it. Private includes two.

Prices are pilot prices and may change; subscribers are told before a change applies to them. Partner perks, including any identity-theft insurance, are provided and insured by the partners, not by FortCore. FortCore pays no interest or yield.
