Your data

The chain shows your vault. We guard the link to you.

A blockchain is public: anyone can see every vault, balance and setting. What Fortcore protects is the link between a vault and a person.

What's public anyway

Your vault's address, balance, known addresses, homes and settings are on Base for anyone to read. The address is pseudonymous, not anonymous: anyone who links it to you can follow it. Fortcore never publishes it or gives it a public name, and you shouldn't post it.

What Fortcore keeps

The personal data Fortcore holds, and how
DataWhyHow it's protected
Your email, and your phone number with ProtectSetup, alerts and recoveryStored apart from vault addresses and joined only to send an alert, with a key held in a hardware security module
Identity documents, with ProtectRecovery by identityHeld by the identity vendor, not Fortcore, and deleted 90 days after a recovery or after Protect ends
Read-only exchange links, with ProtectShowing exchange balances and where deposits came fromRead-only access only, never trading or withdrawals; encrypted; removable at any time
Verification passwords, with PrivateConfirming large withdrawals by phoneStored hashed; calls recorded only with your consent

Who at Fortcore can see what

  • Staff see a balance or an address only through a logged grant, tied to a support ticket and approved by two people.
  • Payment, support and billing systems can never produce a phone, restore or FortCard signature.
  • Every action Fortcore takes on your vault is labelled and shown to you.

Partners

Estate and security partners get your data only with your explicit consent, partner by partner. The threat network keeps addresses and the type of evidence, never who reported them.

When it's deleted

  • Contact details: 90 days after your vault closes.
  • Identity documents: 90 days after a recovery, or after Protect ends.
  • Exchange links: whenever you remove them.

What's in your cloud

Your cloud passkey carries a pointer to your vault, with no name or contact details, and a Recovery Pack of public vault details is saved to your cloud drive. Neither can sign anything, but both contain your vault's address, so keep your cloud account private.

This website

fortcore.io is served over HTTPS only, with strict security headers and a content security policy. Analytics runs only on public pages, never in your account, where wallets connect. Privacy policy.

Questions

Can Fortcore see my balance?

Anyone can see a vault's balance on-chain. What Fortcore protects is which vault is yours: staff can look that up only through a logged, ticket-bound grant approved by two people.
